First birthday cake ideas
The Teddy Bear Cake, Baby Dino Cake and Fluffy Sheep Cake are lovely for a first birthday. If you're planning a theme, the Farm Cake, Safari Cake and Under the Sea Cake all go down well, and so does the Rainbow Cake.

Questions
Can you add their name or age?
Yes, you can add a piped message to most cakes for £5, such as their name or "Happy 1st Birthday". Just click Add a piped message on the cake page.
Can we get a small cake for them to smash?
Our mini cakes serve 6 to 8 and are a good size for that. Lots of parents order a mini cake for the birthday girl or boy and a bigger cake for everyone else.
How much notice do you need?
Most cakes need 2 days' notice, and you choose your date at checkout. You're welcome to order weeks ahead.
Where do you deliver?
Our own drivers deliver Tuesday to Saturday across Sussex, Surrey and south London. Delivery is free on orders over £60. If you need it early, you can pay a little extra for a morning delivery at checkout. You can check your postcode here.
Do you make vegan or gluten free first birthday cakes?
Yes. Many of our designs come in a free from version, and there's a full range of vegan and gluten friendly cakes. Allergens are listed on every cake page.
