Products
All goods are subject to availability, we reserve the right to substitute goods to an equal or higher value if the products that you require are not available. We will endeavour to contact you before substitution, however deliveries are time critical, and there may not be time to contact you.
We accept payment via Visa, Mastercard and cash in £ sterling only. All orders are credit card sanctioned before dispatch. This means that you must provide us with the correct details, before the order is processed. You will be required to provide the registered address of the Credit Card holder. This is used to validate your order. Incorrect details given will result in a delay in processing your order.
Cancellations or Postponements
You may, for any reason, cancel or postpone your order, a full refund will be given for cancellations made up to 5 days before your order is due, cancellations made within5 days of your order due date will not be refunded.
Cake changes
If for any reason you decide to make changes to your order please do this via email with at least 72 hours notice.
Complaints
Your complete satisfaction is very important to us. If you have any complaints regarding our products or service, please email us via our contact page or call us on one of our contact numbers.
Corporate Orders
We welcome any large business orders, and can personalise your delivery with sufficient notice. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Delivery
Celebration Cakes
We currently deliver FOR FREE (on orders over £40. Delivery is £6 on orders under £40) to the following postcodes
BN1, BN2, BN3, BN4, BN5, BN6, BN7, BN8, BN9, BN10, BN11, BN15, BN41, BN42, BN43, BN44, BN45, BN71, BN72, BN73, RH10, RH11, RH12, RH15, RH16, RH17, RH18, RH19, RH13 6XX, RH13 8XX, RH13 5XX, RH13 9XX, RH13 0XX, TN22.
Please ensure that we have the correct address for delivery, we cannot accept responsibility for an incorrect address. If the delivery address is a business address, the parcel will deem to have been delivered if it is delivered to reception. We regret that we cannot accept orders from, or send deliveries to, an address with a PO Box number.
If there is no answer at the door when we try to delivery we will try and contact you via phone, if this is unsuccessful, we will either leave the cake on the doorstep (provided it is sheltered and not too warm) deliver to a neighbour, or return the item to the Hove bakery. In any case we will inform you of where the cake has been left, you automatically agree to these terms when you place your order.
Wedding Cakes
Delivery is free for wedding cakes within our service areas, this covers the following areas: Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Lewes, East Grinstead, Crawley, Brighton, Hove, Horsham, Rottingdean, Worthing. Collection from our Bakery in Hove is also available.
Refund Policy
If you are not satisfied with your order in any way Harry Batten Cakes please get in touch as soon as possible. Depending on the complaint we will either offer a full refund, partial refund or discount off a future order. Discounts on future orders can not be greater than the value of the previous order.

Our policy on Privacy is detailed below and we would ask that you read this carefully so that you are aware of how your personal data will be dealt with when you use our website.
Any amendments to our policy will be posted onto our home page, but, in any event, your data will only be used for legitimate business purposes.
