Please check we deliver wedding cakes to your venue first. We post taster boxes anywhere in the UK, but we only deliver wedding cakes to parts of Sussex, Surrey and London. You can also collect your cake from our bakery in Burgess Hill. Check your postcode here.

(Natural fruit reaction may cause slight blue/grey tones where raspberry comes into contact with the sponge. This is normal and safe to eat.)
We post taster boxes on Wednesdays, so they arrive on Thursday or Friday. Pick the Wednesday that suits you at checkout. Postage is free anywhere in the UK.

Does the cost come off my wedding cake?
No, the taster box is paid for separately.
How should I store it?
Keep it in the fridge in its box, and let the cake come up to room temperature before you eat it.
Can I collect it instead?
Yes, you can collect it from our Burgess Hill bakery.
Do you deliver wedding cakes to my venue?
We deliver to parts of Sussex, Surrey and London. Check your postcode, or collect from Burgess Hill.

At Harry Batten, we stand behind the quality of everything we bake. If you are anything less than fully happy with your order, we will refund you 100% without fuss.
To request a refund, simply contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order and provide your order number along with a brief description of the issue. We may ask for a photo so we can understand what went wrong and improve our service.
Refunds apply to all products, including cakes, brownies, cookies, and seasonal items. Once approved, refunds will be processed back to your original payment method. Please allow up to 5 to 7 working days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank.
This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we’ll always do our best to make things right.

How do I place an order?
We take all orders via the website, this process has been designed to be as simple and easy as possible, you simply:
- Select your product, add it to the cart.
- Choose your delivery date for cakes or your dispatch date for nationwide delivery or collection date for any product.
- Pay securely via debit or credit card. You will receive an order confirmation via email once the order has been placed.
What is the shelf life of your bakes?
All our cakes will keep for 5 days after delivery/collection, with the exception of cakes containing fresh fruit, which should be eaten within 2 days.
Our brownies and cookies will also keep for around 5 days and will have a "use by" date on the box.
Can you do a custom cake?
Yes, we do! In addition to the non-custom cake options available on our website, we can also create any cake you can imagine. Simply send us a message through the website to discuss your ideas.
How much notice do you require?
We require 2 days' notice. However, you can order several months in advance. In any case, you can choose the delivery/collection time at the checkout. If you need a cake at short notice, get in touch and we'll see what we can do.
For wedding cakes, we recommend ordering at least 3 months in advance. However, depending on how busy we are, we may have availability at much shorter notice.
Brownies can be ordered for next-day delivery. Delivery for brownies is available Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. However, you can also choose a delivery date several months in advance.
