Description

Our Halloween Cupcakes are decorated as monsters, mummies, pumpkins and brains, on soft sponge with smooth buttercream. They're a great way to get everyone in the mood, whether it's a Halloween party, a school event or treats for the office.

Pick up to 4 flavours, or leave it to us and we'll choose a mix. They come in boxes of 12 from £55, and you can order as many boxes as you need.

We need 2 days' notice, and you choose your delivery or collection date at checkout. Halloween is on a Saturday this year, and we do deliver on Saturdays.

100% vegetarian. All cupcake flavours contain Gluten, Milk, Egg and Soya. "Strawberry Macaron" and "Chocolate Banana & Hazelnut" also contain Tree Nuts and "Lemon" also contains Nitrates.

Made in an environment that handles Gluten, Milk, Egg, Tree Nuts, Peanuts, Nitrates and Soya.
Storage

We recommend storing your cake in the fridge (ideally in its box) and allowing it to come up to room temperature before serving.

When transporting your cake in the car, it's best in the boot or the footwell, kept level. Hold the cake box from underneath and don't press the sides of the box.

Order Times

We offer FREE delivery on all orders over £60 to the majority of Sussex, Surrey and London. You will be able to choose a delivery/collection date at the checkout when you place your order. After choosing your delivery date, you will either be able to choose our free all-day delivery or a paid-for before midday delivery option. You will receive an email and SMS the day before with your allocated 2 hour delivery time slot. You can collect any of our products, including wedding cakes from our Burgess Hill bakery.

At Harry Batten, we stand behind everything we bake. If something has gone wrong with your order and it's down to us, for example it was damaged before it reached you, it isn't what you ordered, or there's a problem with the quality, we'll put it right. That might be a replacement, a partial refund or a full refund, depending on what's happened.

Just get in touch within 48 hours of receiving your order with your order number, a short description of the problem and a photo, so we can see what's gone wrong.

We can't offer a refund where there's nothing wrong with the bake itself, for example if it simply wasn't to your taste, or if it was damaged after delivery or collection, or wasn't stored as advised.

Any refund goes back to your original payment method and can take 5 to 7 working days to show, depending on your bank. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.

You can order your cake on the website with as little as 48 hours' notice, for delivery or collection. It's freshly made to order and keeps for 5 days after delivery or collection (less if it contains fresh fruit).

You can book up to 18 months in advance.

How Do I Place An Order?

We take all orders via the website, this process has been designed to be as simple and easy as possible, you simply:

  1. Select your product, add it to the cart.
  2. Choose your delivery or collection date. For posted orders, choose the day you'd like it to arrive.
  3. Pay securely via debit or credit card. You will receive an order confirmation via email once the order has been placed.
What is the shelf life of your bakes?

All our cakes will keep for 5 days after delivery/collection, with the exception of cakes containing fresh fruit, which should be eaten within 2 days.

Our brownies and cookies will also keep for around 5 days and will have a "use by" date on the box.
Can you do a custom cake?

Yes, we do! In addition to the non-custom cake options available on our website, we can also create any cake you can imagine. Simply send us a message through the website to discuss your ideas.
How much notice do you require?

We require 2 days' notice. However, you can order several months in advance. In any case, you can choose the delivery/collection time at the checkout. If you need a cake at short notice, get in touch and we'll see what we can do.

For wedding cakes, we recommend ordering at least 3 months in advance. However, depending on how busy we are, we may have availability at much shorter notice.

Brownies and cookies are delivered Wednesday to Saturday. Order by midnight and we'll post them the next day, so they should arrive the day after. You can also choose a delivery date months ahead.
