Description

Chocolate brownies with raspberries and amaretti biscuits. The raspberries cut through the chocolate and the amaretti adds a little almond crunch.

Made with Belgian chocolate and free range organic eggs, in a box of 8 or 16. Amaretti are made with almonds, so these aren't suitable for anyone with a nut allergy.

We bake them at our bakery in Burgess Hill and post them anywhere in the UK by Royal Mail Tracked 24. Choose the day you want them to arrive at checkout, and if they're a present, just pop the other person's address in.
Portion Sizes

Our brownie boxes come in two sizes: 16 or 8 (the photos are of the 16 brownie boxes). The boxes of 16 are 8 inches square and weigh approximately 1 kg. The boxes of 8 brownies are 8 inches x 4 inches and weigh approximately 500g.

Each individual brownie is approximately 2 inches square.

100% vegetarian. All brownie flavours contain Gluten, Milk, Egg and Soya. "Maple and Pecan" and "Chocolate Hazelnut" also contain Tree Nuts.

Made in an environment that handles Gluten, Milk, Egg, Tree Nuts, Peanuts, Nitrates and Soya.
Storage

Our brownies will last for 5 days from the day of delivery, store in the fridge and serve at room temperature.

Order Times

Choose your delivery date at checkout

Order by midnight and we'll post it the next day by Royal Mail Tracked 24, so it should arrive the day after. For example, order by midnight on Monday, we post on Tuesday and it arrives on Wednesday. Delivery days are Wednesday to Saturday. Next day delivery isn't guaranteed, and now and then it takes an extra day. You'll get a tracking number once it's on its way.

Free delivery on postal orders over £60. We can't be held responsible for a missed delivery or an incomplete address.

At Harry Batten, we stand behind everything we bake. If something has gone wrong with your order and it's down to us, for example it was damaged before it reached you, it isn't what you ordered, or there's a problem with the quality, we'll put it right. That might be a replacement, a partial refund or a full refund, depending on what's happened.

Just get in touch within 48 hours of receiving your order with your order number, a short description of the problem and a photo, so we can see what's gone wrong.

We can't offer a refund where there's nothing wrong with the bake itself, for example if it simply wasn't to your taste, or if it was damaged after delivery or collection, or wasn't stored as advised.

Any refund goes back to your original payment method and can take 5 to 7 working days to show, depending on your bank. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.

How Do I Place An Order?

We take all orders via the website, this process has been designed to be as simple and easy as possible, you simply:

  1. Select your product, add it to the cart.
  2. Choose your delivery or collection date. For posted orders, choose the day you'd like it to arrive.
  3. Pay securely via debit or credit card. You will receive an order confirmation via email once the order has been placed.
What is the shelf life of your bakes?

All our cakes will keep for 5 days after delivery/collection, with the exception of cakes containing fresh fruit, which should be eaten within 2 days.

Our brownies and cookies will also keep for around 5 days and will have a "use by" date on the box.
Can you do a custom cake?

Yes, we do! In addition to the non-custom cake options available on our website, we can also create any cake you can imagine. Simply send us a message through the website to discuss your ideas.
How much notice do you require?

We require 2 days' notice. However, you can order several months in advance. In any case, you can choose the delivery/collection time at the checkout. If you need a cake at short notice, get in touch and we'll see what we can do.

For wedding cakes, we recommend ordering at least 3 months in advance. However, depending on how busy we are, we may have availability at much shorter notice.

Brownies and cookies are delivered Wednesday to Saturday. Order by midnight and we'll post them the next day, so they should arrive the day after. You can also choose a delivery date months ahead.
