Our semi naked Fresh Berry Wedding Cake, with a light covering of buttercream on the outside and fresh berries on each tier. Create a custom budget wedding cake with up to 4 tiers and 10 delicious flavours to choose from.
Each tier is approximately 5” high
Please note: Our three-tier cakes are supplied with a central support column, which keeps the cake upright while it is being delivered. As the support column goes in last, it leaves a small 1 cm hole in the top of the cake that we disguise with flowers (or fruit depending on the cake you've ordered) so it is not visible. However, if you are not having any decoration on top of your cake, please let us know so we can supply a bit of extra icing to cover the hole after the cake has been delivered.
2 tier - Approximately 40 portions - 8" diameter cake on the bottom and 6" diameter cake on top.
3 tier - Approximately 70-100 portions - 10" diameter cake on the bottom, 8" diameter cake in the middle and 6" diameter cake on top.
3 tier + undecorated cutting cake - This option is the same as our three-tier cake with the addition of a 12" undecorated cake. It provides approximately 150-200 portions in total. The wedding cake itself consists of a 10" diameter cake on the bottom, an 8" diameter cake in the middle, and a 6" diameter cake on top.
If you are having your wedding cake delivered to the venue, we recommend having it delivered on the day. All wedding cakes are delivered 1 hour before any guests arrive, we will not deliver the cake after guests have arrived so if you are choosing a specific delivery time, make sure that is taken into account.
If you're having the cake delivered to your house before transporting it to the venue, it's advisable to refrigerate it in the meantime. While the cake doesn't necessarily require refrigeration, chilling it will firm up the buttercream, making it much easier to transport and ensuring it remains stable during the journey.
If you are collecting the cake, make sure there is room in your car for the box, the cake will be fully assembled.
For a 2 tier cake the box size will be 10” x 10” x 15” (LxWxH).
For a 3 tier cake the box size will be 12” x 12” x 20” (LxWxH).
We don’t supply cake stands but your venue should have one, if you are supplying your own make sure it is left with the venue and we’ll put the cake on it when we deliver.
For a 2 tier make sure the cake stand is at least 10” to 12” in diameter.
For a 3 tier make sure the cake stand is at least 12” to 14” in diameter.
